What I am.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor; Psychotherapist, and Behavior Analyst. I hold a Master's Degree in Psychoanalysis from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and an Advanced Graduate Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University.
What I do.
In helping people work-through anxiety and depression my approach fosters greater self awareness as a means toward overcoming harmful behavioral and emotional repetitions. My clients are typically professionals or students struggling with stress and transitional issues.
I also help folks with Asperger's Syndrome (see the "Aspergers" tab above to learn more).
Let. Them. Be.
I once asked the philosopher William Richardson, "what is the most important thing a therapist can do for a client?" The 90-year old analyst smiled and with his trademark intensity spoke three careful words: "Let. Them. Be."
Welcome to therapy: a place where you can be.
